We are excited to that registration is now open for the 2023-2024 Connecticut Middle School Mock Trial Competition.
The regional middle school mock trials will be held on two dates in March:
Wallingford, Thursday, March 14 (March 20 snow date), Dag Hammarskjold Middle School, 106 Pond Hill Road, Wallingford.
West Hartford, Tuesday, March 19 (March 26 snow date), Sedgwick Middle School, 128 Sedgwick Road, West Hartford.
Teams are asked to report at 3:30 PM on both competition days. The first trial will begin at 4:00 PM, and the second trial will begin at 6:00 PM, with a short meal break between the trials. As always, teams that win both sides of the case will advance to the statewide playoff tournament, to be held in April, 2024, in a state courthouse, followed by the state championship before the Connecticut Appellate Court.
The Connecticut Bar Association is hosting online registration. The registration fee is $250 per team. The system will accept payment by credit card or electronic transfer/check. The registration deadline is Friday, March 1, 2024. To register, please click this link.
